| posted: Oct 30, 2000 After graduation, I went to Northwestern University for a year and then transferred to NYU. I obtained by law degree in 1974 at Georgetown and was married in the same year. After working as an assistant district attorney in Manhattan for about eight years, and having three children, I decided to work part time, teaching law at Seton Hall University and having a limited private practice. My oldest child, Tracy, graduated from Harvard in 2000 and works as a consultant in NYC; my daughter, Jennifer, will be a junior at Michigan this fall; and my baby, Chris, just graduated high school and will start at Vanderbilt University. I was divorced in 1999 and thus am back in the dating scene, which is actually fun at times and at times, not! I am looking forward to reinventing my life a bit and taking advantage of the freedom which I hope to experience! Updated: 2/18/2011 So, to update the last 11 years: I still live in NJ, but built a vacation home SE of Charleston, SC--which I love but don't get to visit nearly often enough! I work full-time as the Director of Legal Programs for a non-profit that represents low income women and victims of domestic violence in family court. My children went to grad school and are all grown up, though none are married yet or have children. Tracy works at Tyco International in Philly; Jenny writes for a newspaper in San Diego; Chris will start at JP Morgan Chase in NYC this summer. I do look forward to grandchildren at some point, though! :-) I've been in a relationship for about 9 years, play tennis and bridge in my spare time, love my many cats (!) and think about moving out of the snow-infested northeast a lot of the time! I hope we will have another PHS Class of '66 reunion this year! |
